Reasons to Buy IFB 6.5 kg Fully-Automatic Top Loading Washing Machine

Triadic Pulsator System Ensures Powerful Washes: This feature is practically the washer’s most advanced one. It provides an incredibly deep clean through three steps. The first one aids in eliminating dirt from the core of your clothing, while the second one swirls them and cleans out the remaining grimes. Lastly, the third works by flushing out the residues and making your wearables fresh and clean.

Crescent Moon Drum Protects Delicate Clothes: The Crescent Moon Drum also has a large part in the cleaning quality. It works in more of a passive way, though. There are crescent moon grooves on the interior of the drum, which reduce the amount of force the clothes have to take while providing some light scrubbing at the same time. None of the clothes we put in were damaged, not even ones made of silk or satin.

Aqua Energie Makes It Easier To Clean With Hard Water: The washing machine also comes equipped to deal with hard water conditions. If you’ve looked at the rest of IFB’s washers, you likely know what the Aqua Energie feature is. It basically converts hard water to soft water. You might be concerned about the washer cleaning clothes with converted water differently. You needn’t worry about that- we’ve tested it by doing a wash ourselves to see if that’s an issue, but it isn’t. The washing machine can wash laundry just as well.

Auto-Balance Technology Reduces Noise Levels: Noise isn’t much of an issue in this washing machine, as it’s quite lightweight even without this technology. With this technology, the noise goes down much more. It ensures a more even weight distribution inside the machine, which causes fewer vibrations and, therefore, less noise.

Effective Filter Makes Clothes Even Cleaner: Without proper lint removal, all your washed clothes will appear dull and unclean. This washing machine’s lint filter is fairly long, so it can trap all the lint, ensuring that your clothes look truly clean. The filter itself is also easy to clean, so it won’t get clogged by sand or anything else.

Some Notes On The Issues

Air Dry Timer Is A Little Inconvenient: The least you can set the air dry timer to is 50 minutes. That’s not too bad, as the clothes come out very dry. However, we think there should’ve been a Quick-Dry option that lets the user set the timer to as low as 10-15 minutes.

Water Level Options Could Work A Little Better: The machine has 10 water level options. That would’ve made a great buying point, except that there’s an issue with these options. Only 5 of them actually seem to do something, and the other 5 don’t show a noticeable difference.

Frequently Asked Questions

Here we’ll answer some questions you might have about this particular washer.

Does it have a built-in water heater?

Unfortunately, it doesn’t. There is a workaround, though. It comes with a separate inlet for hot water, and you can simply connect this inlet to a hot water tap if you want to use hot water while washing.

What sort of detergent powder can I use with it?

Ariel, Surf Excel, anything works. However, we suggest using liquid detergents instead for far better results.

How many water inlets does it have?

It comes with two inlets. One inlet is meant to be for hot water, while another is for cold water.

Does it work with saltwater?

Yes, it will still be able to clean well, even with saltwater.

Verdict

One of the main reasons our experts chose this washer is because it has a perfect balance of power and convenience. There are features that will help the washer wash well, and there are also some that will generally make life easier. You’ll get the best use of this washer if you live in an area saturated with hard water. However, it will still work remarkably well if you’re in an area with normal water.
