Reasons to Buy The Philips HL 7720 750 Watt Mixer Grinder
Auto Cut Off: This is one of the features that first caught our notice during testing. We tried running this grinder at different voltages to see how it would react while it was running. Turns out that the grinder can easily detect issues and turn itself off. If you’re in an area with a lot of load shedding, you could potentially try out this mixer grinder. We’re confident that you won’t be disappointed.
Robust 750W Motor: In terms of power, this grinder does have quite a punch. It’s powerful enough to make grinding smooth and fast but not so powerful that it might hit your electricity bills. That’s always a good balance to have.
Versatile Jars: The appliance has three jars for different kinds of uses. As a result, your mixing and grinding tasks become very quick, easy and smooth. The small 0.4L jar is perfect for grinding chutneys, while the 1.5L and 1L jars are perfect for grinding wet and dry ingredients, respectively.
Grip Handles: The handles may look somewhat odd, but they’re for sure some of the most comfortable designs available. Besides, they don’t look odd in a bad way, so you’ll be more than satisfied with them.

Notes About The Problems
High Noise Production: Due to the powerful motor, you’ll have to deal with a lot of noise when using this mixer grinder.
Chutney Jar Could Have Better Capacity: Though this isn’t the smallest chutney jar we’ve seen, we still think it could have more capacity. If you’re going to make chutneys often, keep in mind that it will only barely serve up to 3 people, as it only has a 3L capacity.

Verdict
This grinder is good all around- the features are somewhat basic but still match the same effectiveness of other high-end mixer grinders. There is a bit of an issue, though. While putting this mixer through some tests in our lab, we noticed that it didn’t do very well with hard ingredients; it can grind them, but not very well. If you grind such ingredients more often, you’ll likely be better off with a grinder that has a more powerful motor.
Nevertheless, it’s very good for being one of the least expensive mixer grinders on our list. Go for it only if you really need to save money, though. Otherwise, the other grinders above will definitely be a better option. The Panasonic MX-AC400 might even be a better option, despite having a weaker motor.
