Loud Audio Without Distortions: This system is great for most medium-sized rooms. Its powerful 400W power output can blast sound throughout the room, while Dolby Digital ensures the audio comes out clear and crisp. The surround sound will also always stay realistic and pleasing to the ears, regardless of placement.

High Compatibility With TVs: Furthermore, the HT-S20R includes various compatibility features. If you have a TV that supports HDMI ARC, you can connect this system to it with a single cable. However, optical input is still available if you do not have it. If you don’t have either, this home theatre system includes analogue input.

Works Well With Other Sources: If you don’t want to watch TV and want to listen to music on your phone, you can link the sound system to the phone via Bluetooth. Alternatively, you can even connect to a USB and play your favourite tunes from there.

Optimised for All Situations: You can also adjust the system settings to any of the preset options. There are options for both Cinema and Music, along with the Standard and Auto modes. So, you can set the speakers to work best with the content you’re currently watching or listening to. You can also manually adjust the sound settings.

Excellent Remote: We’ve also noticed that the remote is well-built. The home theatre system lacks special control options, such as voice control, but the remote makes up for that. It includes general settings, preset modes, and finer adjustments such as bass control. The exterior, though, is our favourite aspect. It’s a durable remote, so you can use it without fear, even if you inadvertently drop it.

Great For Movies: There is also a preset Voice mode to make listening to dialogue in movies more enjoyable. It’s helpful when a lot is going on or when the accent of a character throws you off. You can sit back, relax, and change the audio on the fly because all these modes are accessible via the remote control.

A Few Notes

Volume Adjustment Could Be A Little Better: Although this system can get incredibly loud, the lower volume level settings have bad tuning. The audio becomes almost inaudible when you set it to low, so you might have to adjust it frequently.

Rear Speakers Are Weak: During our testing, we noticed that the rear satellite speakers are weaker than the front ones. However, the difference will only be noticeable whilst playing certain types of content. If you’re watching a fast-paced action movie, the sound will be more balanced. But if you’re playing a game with directional audio cues, the rear speakers might not perform as well as you’d like.
