Before we begin, I have a quick questionnaire for you. Is microwaved food healthy? Is microwave cooking easy? Is it time-saving? Is it safe? The answer to all the above is YES! Well, I am exhausted with this debate, and so I decided to put my point across.

If you ask me, I would say microwave radiation is completely harmless. It’s more about the culinary you use and the to-do safety list you follow.

  • Baby red potatoes
  • Olive oil cooking spray
  • Garlic powder
  • Grounded black pepper
  • Kosher Salt

  • Diced yellow onions
  • Medium size head of cauliflower

  • Step 1: Begin with removing the outer leaves of the cauliflower.
  • Step 2: Stem down the large head of cauliflower. Place it in a microwaveable dish and add some butter to it. Microwave it for 8-10 minutes until it becomes tender. You may add two tablespoons of water as well.
  • Step 3: Prepare the sauce alongside. Mayonnaise, mustard, onions and two tablespoons of milk. Blend it well.

  • Rolled oats
  • Banana
  • Almond milk
  • Cinnamon
  • Vanilla extract
  • Butter
  • Nutmeg
  • Cashew nuts
  • Dates
  • Maple syrup

  • Large or baby potatoes
  • Butter
  • Grated cheese
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Chilli flakes
  • Green chillies

  • Step 1: Begin with peeling off the potato skin.
  • Step 2: Coat it with slightly melted butter.

  • Cooking oil

  • Step 1: Before you begin baking the perfect crispy veg puffs, boil the potatoes and green peas. Alongside, preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
  • Step 2: Bring out a pan, add some oil and let it heat. Stir in the chopped onions, grated carrots, green chillies and ginger-garlic paste. Let this cook for five minutes.
  • Step 3: Once cooked, add the veggies to the steamed potatoes and green peas. Mix it well.
  • Step 4: It’s time to add all the spices- garam masala, turmeric, coriander powder, dry mango, red chilli powder salt, and chaat masala. Taste the flavour to be sure of it. Let the mixture cool to room temperature.
  • Step 5: Cut the pastry puff sheet into square shapes and equal parts.
  • Step 6: Spoon the filling in the middle of each pastry puff.
  • Step 7: Bring out the baking tray and brush it with butter.
  • Step 8: Gently place the pastry puffs on the tray and fold them from every end.
  • Step 9: Brush the pastry puffs with butter and sprinkle sesame seeds over them.
  • Step 10: Bake until they turn golden brown.

Here’s a Tip: You need no fancy dips and sauces to serve along. Only tomato ketchup. The crispy and butterfly baked veg puff can have variations in the fillings. Choose your favourite veggies.
